Antal was born in 1907 in Nemeshetés.  Antal's father was József JAKABFY and his mother was Júlia  PETŐFI.  His paternal grandparents were N. JAKABFY and N. N.. He had a brother and three sisters, named József, Margit, Magdolna and Rozália .  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died  due to II. világháborúban eltűntnek nyilvánították at the age of 37 in 1944.
