Franciska was born on June 4th, 1857 in Búcsúszentlászló (Zala).  Franciska's father was Zsigmond (nemeshetési) JAKABFFY and her mother was Julianna (pápai)  HEGYI.  Her paternal grandparents were Gergely (nemeshetési) JAKABFY and Amália KANTSITS; her maternal grandparents were Pál  (pápai)  HEGYI and N. N.. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Lajos, Lajos , Vilmos, János, Ödön, Magdalena Gisela , Paulina, Franciska and Magdolna.  She was the third oldest of the ten children.
