Magdolna was born on July 11th, 1868 in Búcsúszentlászló.  Magdolna's father was Zsigmond (nemeshetési) JAKABFFY and her mother was Julianna (pápai)  HEGYI.  Her paternal grandparents were Gergely (nemeshetési) JAKABFY and Amália KANTSITS; her maternal grandparents were Pál  (pápai)  HEGYI and N. N.. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Lajos, Lajos , Vilmos, János, Ödön, Magdalena Gisela , Franciska, Paulina and Franciska.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.
